The Host

Ok, I was wondering where to start, and decided to start on The Host.

Yes, I read -started and finished- The Host during my test(not in the classroom, of course!). It was really good.

I didn't really like him. The way he treated Wanda. I think that I would have liked him better if the story was written in Melanie's point of view.

Her altruism (it's altruism, right??) was a bit too mush, I guess. But she's ok. I just wish that she didn't think of herself as a worm -stupid Kyle.

I like Ian. I just wished that he didn't hit Wanda in the beginning.


Anyway, I was wondering -I was kinda comparing it with twilight while reading it. Don't know why. Maybe it's just coz Stephenie wrote it, and I'm not much used to her writing other books other than twilight ?- , why do the guys that end up with the (main character) girl always start with hating her? Sort of.
Weird, isn't it?

Anyway, I love the dedication -Stephenie always does awesome dedications and acknowledgements . That's probably what I love the most about her :)
